You and your mates will explore two of the Daugava canals in one unforgettable trip. Paddle through the urban bustle of the Riga City canal, taking in the sights and sounds of the city from a completely different angle. Greet captains of small boats and people chilling on the sides of the canal, and on hot days, take a refreshing paddle through the canal fountains.

As you approach the turn of the market canal and kayak under the Stockmann shopping centre, you’ll encounter a completely different side of Riga – a bit grey, industrially romantic, and bustling with life. Then, it’s time to cross the stunning Daugava River and explore the peaceful and quiet Zunda canal, where you’ll discover the historic remains of shipyards and boat repairs that once lined the shore.

On your return to our base in Andrejosta, get ready for an extra challenge — some upstream waves that will test your paddling skills and make for an unforgettable experience. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for the famous beaver of the Riga canal, who can often be spotted at the Latvian National Opera.
